As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including identifying concerns, notifying the appropriate contacts, and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, including verifying credentials and directing employees, contractors, and guests as needed.
  • Complete detailed written reports and logs, communicate significant events to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support investigations by preserving observations and available information.
