As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access concerns, support employees and visitors with strong customer service, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying authorization, issuing directions, and/or documenting entries according to site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, using clear written and verbal communication to support security-related operations.
