As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, use a computer or tablet for reporting and communications, and deliver helpful customer service to employees and visitors. You will bring agility, reliability, and integrity while working as one team.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
