As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of production and perimeter areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points while providing clear, professional customer service. You will report unusual activity, communicate with site leaders and teammates, and help keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity that may help to deter incidents.
Monitor and control entry and exit at designated checkpoints, verifying identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with delivery and contractor check-in processes per site policy.
Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and the client representative.
