As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of production and perimeter areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points while providing clear, professional customer service. You will report unusual activity, communicate with site leaders and teammates, and help keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity that may help to deter incidents.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at designated checkpoints, verifying identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with delivery and contractor check-in processes per site policy.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and the client representative.
