Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, respond to alarms, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify suspicious activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly with personnel, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
