As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations by observing, documenting, and communicating concerns promptly while delivering professional customer service to drivers, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to monitor and control access at entrances, gates, and delivery areas by verifying identification, logging visitor and driver activity, and directing traffic flow according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, medical calls, and reporting suspicious activity to site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete routine security-related documentation such as shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned.
