As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance with strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and support access control as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, corridors, common areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity via rounds and available systems, reporting suspicious or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, timely documentation and communicate key updates during shift turnovers.
