As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production or lab areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or access credentials, directing visitors to sign-in procedures, and reporting access discrepancies per site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, document observations, and promptly communicate unusual conditions through the appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear incident documentation, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
