Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate professionally with onsite teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or lab areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy concerns through established channels.
