Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disruptions, and/or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
