As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests, support store teams with strong communication, and document observations to help keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests in a retail store and/or mall setting by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee traffic patterns, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations according to post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with lost and found inquiries, and coordinating with on-site management.
Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts.
