As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor and document activity near financial services areas such as ATMs, cash handling points, and/or bank tenant spaces, and report suspicious behavior according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or alarms, and coordinating with local responders as directed.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and/or recommendations to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
