As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and guide visitors and contractors. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and document activity with clear reports and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials when required, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing visitors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate check-in areas.
• Monitor access control and alarm systems and/or video surveillance for irregular activity, then report concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with site response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns per post orders.
