Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to calls for assistance, and provide clear communication and customer service to patients, staff, and guests. Requirements

• Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Monitor access points by observing arrivals and departures, assisting with visitor direction, and documenting unusual activity in accordance with site guidelines.
• Complete routine documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervisors.
