As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage processing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and respond to concerns with a calm, customer-service mindset. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage processing location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity and/or hazards according to post orders.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, and equipment or process-related disruptions, and escalate to Allied Universal management and/or local responders when required.
  • Complete clear, timely documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations during shift turnovers to support continuity of site operations.
