As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, financial institution site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and observe lobby, ATM, and/or customer service areas as applicable, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports, activity logs, and/or incident documentation, and communicate updates during shift transitions to support consistent post coverage.
