As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and complete routine rounds and reports. You will greet employees and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to situations with integrity. Requirements

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas and the perimeter, while watching for suspicious activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and public areas, greet and assist employees and visitors, and help manage queues, appointments and/or deliveries in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, alarms, medical events and/or suspicious persons, and coordinate with site leadership and responding public services as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and site contacts.
