As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel and/or public responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, office areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity during patrols, reporting suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or unauthorized entry attempts according to post orders.
  • Complete detailed written reports and documentation for patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client contacts as required.
