As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees, drivers, and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and document truck and trailer activity, including arrivals, departures, and yard movement, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate security-related information during shift transitions, and assist with directing traffic flow at gates and staging areas when needed.
