Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor alarms and visitor activity, and complete routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entrances, gates, and/or loading areas by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per site requirements.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report irregular conditions and/or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or damage.
