As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor check-ins, and support orderly truck and employee flow. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leaders and team members. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing deliveries to the proper receiving areas.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and drivers, reporting irregularities and documenting access activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeter areas as assigned, watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized entry and/or property damage.
