As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist residents and guests with a professional, customer-first approach. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team while acting with integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community setting.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify visitor identification and/or authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance or policy issues.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
