As an Allied Universal Officer at a food and beverage location, you will focus on access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry logs, and supporting traffic flow at key entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing badges, and directing authorized persons to the correct areas within the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and delivery points, helping to deter unauthorized entry by controlling keys, gates, and/or turnstiles and maintaining visitor, contractor, and truck driver logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and communicating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Support receiving and shipping operations by screening inbound and outbound traffic, checking paperwork for deliveries and pickups, and reporting irregularities per site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, watching for unusual activity, unsecured doors, spills and/or hazards, and reporting conditions that may impact operations.
