You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and provide customer-focused communication with staff, shoppers, and vendors. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor check-in, and issuing and collecting site credentials as required.
Monitor entry points, sales-floor corridors, loading and receiving areas, and/or camera systems to help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations; report concerns per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management, property operations, and/or local public services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail spaces, common areas, and perimeter, noting hazards, unlocked doors, and unusual conditions and documenting observations in daily activity reports.
