As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for clients and staff. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related needs specific to a financial institution environment.
Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Respond promptly to alarms and/or requests for assistance within the location, using sound judgment and adherence to Allied Universal procedures.
