Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, exterior areas, entry points, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry for visitors, staff, and/or vendors while documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity.
Support the protection of people, property, and/or cultural assets by observing surroundings, communicating clearly with site contacts, and following Allied Universal protocols.
