In this primarily driving post, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying credentials of residents, guests, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate authorities when necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Maintain clear and accurate logs of access control activities and incident reports as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols to support residents and guests during critical situations.
