As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a food and beverage location, you will manage access control by greeting associates and visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and tracking entries and deliveries. You will remain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols as assigned, and report security-related concerns to help to deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, team members, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Manage access control at designated entry points by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Screen and/or monitor incoming deliveries and outbound shipments by coordinating with receiving personnel, checking appointment information, and documenting unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, completing required documentation, and escalating notifications through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter, and monitor cameras and alarm systems as assigned.
