As an Allied Universal officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will support access control and security-related operations by checking badges and credentials, managing visitors and deliveries, monitoring alarms and cameras, and completing routine patrols. You will stay highly visible to help to deter incidents while delivering customer-focused communication. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, vendors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing arrivals to the proper location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders.
• Perform regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, doors, and restricted spaces, and document observations as required.
• Complete detailed reports and shift logs, support incident documentation, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
