Greet employees and visitors, verify credentials and/or badges, maintain logs, and communicate clearly with site teams to support smooth operations. You may complete routine rounds and report concerns promptly, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, checking visitor and vendor authorization, issuing temporary credentials when assigned, and directing traffic and deliveries to designated areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, gates, and communication systems to identify irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, then document observations per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yard areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to look for hazards, open doors or gates, and unusual conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
