Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring alarm panels and security-related systems. You will stay visible at key entry points, conduct routine rounds, and use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and communicate with site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor gates, doors, and loading areas and observe security-related camera feeds and alarms, reporting unusual activity and documenting access control events per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and escalation to site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking lots, perimeter lines, and production-adjacent spaces, noting security-related concerns and completing required reports.
