As an Access Control Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and track visitor and vehicle activity. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required logs and reports.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems to help identify unusual activity and report issues according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing location, including production areas, warehouses, and the perimeter, when assigned and permitted by site procedures.
