As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. This primarily driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and/or potential hazards.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or inappropriate behavior on the premises.
