As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific procedures, and applicable emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate department.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting emergency services when directed, and/or supporting medical staff during disruptions.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation, and communicate notable activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
