Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce incidents. You will respond to alarms, document observations, and communicate clearly while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office, lobby, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization, and manage visitor and contractor check-in processes in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing direction to occupants and contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, incident logs, and shift pass-downs, and communicate observations to the client and Allied Universal supervision.
