As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation parking location, you will monitor and patrol garages and surrounding areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of parking facilities and surrounding areas, including garages, lots, entry and exit lanes, stairwells, elevators, and perimeter routes. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or misuse of restricted areas.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or property concerns, and complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
Provide directions and general assistance to patrons regarding parking operations, wayfinding, and customer concerns, escalating issues per site procedures.
Assist with camera and alarm monitoring where available, promptly communicating observations to site contacts and/or responding resources.
Support response to vehicle-related incidents such as collisions, lockouts, and/or abandoned vehicles by controlling the area, gathering information, and coordinating notifications per post orders.
Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols to help to deter vandalism, theft, and/or loitering, and report maintenance issues such as lighting outages, broken gates, and/or damaged equipment.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal management and site personnel, following post orders, radio protocols, and documentation requirements.
