You will conduct X-ray inspections, verify badges and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with team members and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at designated entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization, and directing individuals to the proper areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct package, bag, and/or vehicle screening as required by post orders, including operating screening equipment and completing required documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
