About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Warehouse Patrols in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a busy logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, manage access points, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and a supportive approach. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the premises by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or inspecting deliveries as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support Allied Universal and client policies and procedures by maintaining accurate and detailed logs or reports as instructed.
