You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access control and/or badge checks, and document security-related activity using a computer or tablet. Stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and site staff, and deliver customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, yards, parking areas, loading docks and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at gates, entrances and/or shipping and receiving areas by verifying identification, directing traffic flow and documenting arrivals and departures per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and contacting public emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or other security-related systems when assigned, and complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents and unusual activity.
