Join Allied Universal in a fast-paced healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document and report concerns, and respond to calls for assistance while acting with integrity and teamwork. This post requires a valid drivers license in the job state.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, alarms, and requests for assistance.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks as required, and reporting suspicious activity per site procedures.
- Complete reports and documentation related to incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts.
