As a Security Officer - Shopping Mall Patrol Driver in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will create a welcoming environment. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations or other procedures as necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
