Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial services location, where you will conduct routine foot and driving patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document activity, support access points as needed, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity with a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, corridors, office areas, ATM and vestibule areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor traffic in accordance with site policies, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or shift activity summaries in a timely manner per site guidelines.
