You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, check doors and common areas, respond to calls for service, and help to spot and report security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, corridors, and key access points, observing for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards, and report conditions through established channels.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
