As a Security Officer - Overnight Mobile Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine driving and foot patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring a reliable, people-first approach that reflects our values of teamwork, integrity, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas, assist with visitor and contractor access procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
