About The Position

As a Security Officer - Office Tower Front Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, monitor access, answer calls and questions, observe cameras and lobby activity, document incidents, and communicate with property staff and responding resources as needed. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols for a commercial property.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials as required, and direct guests and/or vendors to the appropriate contacts or areas.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and document unusual activity for security-related follow-up.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities per post orders.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and pass-downs, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
