As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting access control and visitor check-in, monitoring activity through systems and cameras, and documenting security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and team members to help reduce disruptions. Requirements

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Control access to the property by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to approved destinations.
Monitor lobby and entry activity, alarms, and video systems as assigned, and report unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
Answer phones and greet incoming guests, provide directions and general building information, and communicate requests to property management and/or on-site personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
Document incidents, requests, and shift activity in written reports and electronic logs with clear, accurate details.
Support building operations by coordinating deliveries, managing vendor check-ins, and assisting with access requests per established procedures.
Perform security-related checks at the front desk area such as verifying secured doors, monitoring key and/or credential control processes, and reporting maintenance or access issues.
