Job Description As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol key areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing clear communication and timely notification to site contacts and/or public emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as badge readers, alarms, and video surveillance where assigned, and assist with controlled entry, visitor check-in, and delivery processing per site procedures.
• Document and report security-related activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns using written reports and/or electronic systems, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
