As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support store teams and guests with clear communication, quick reporting, and courteous customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating to management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine security-related checks such as observing entry and exit activity, assisting with access control points, and documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring for suspicious behavior, and helping to deter theft and/or property damage while maintaining professional customer service.
