About The Position

As a Security Officer - Office Park Driver in Anchorage, AK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, assist tenants, visitors, and staff with customer service, and document observations and concerns. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related requests, and support a team culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. Valid Driver's License ‐ AU Driver Policy Requirements required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and management by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access control concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas; verify credentials as required, manage visitor entries, and assist with directing individuals to approved locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; de-escalate disputes when appropriate and request law enforcement and/or medical assistance as needed.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow post orders for shift turnovers.
